Rocket launches AI platform for product strategy and competitive intelligence

Indian startup Rocket publicly launched Rocket 1.0 in April 2026. The platform combines strategy research, product building, and competitive intelligence into a single workflow. Given a text prompt describing a business problem, Rocket generates a PDF report covering pricing, unit economics, and go-to-market recommendations. The company draws on more than a thousand data sources — including digital advertising libraries, web analytics platforms, and proprietary web crawlers — and monitors competitor websites continuously for changes in traffic and content.

Rocket is positioned as a lower-cost alternative to management consulting firms. A $250 plan generates two to three strategy documents alongside product builds. The company, based in Surat, India, raised a $15 million seed round from Accel, Salesforce Ventures, and Together Fund in September 2025 and reached 1.5 million users across 180 countries before the Rocket 1.0 launch.

Why it matters for product managers

PMs who need strategic analysis — market sizing, competitive positioning, or pricing benchmarks — typically either commission external research or assemble data manually across multiple tools. Rocket packages these tasks into one workflow and produces outputs formatted as consulting-style documents rather than raw data exports.

The platform is most relevant for early-stage discovery work: getting a first read on a new market segment, stress-testing pricing assumptions, or tracking how competitors are evolving their positioning over weeks and months. Whether AI-generated strategy reports can match the depth of human-led analysis for major investment decisions is a separate question, and one the current launch does not resolve.
