Next Gen PM: Agentic AI for product managers

This five-week program is run by Jyothi Nookula, an AI Product Director with experience at Netflix, Meta, Amazon, and Etsy, who founded Next Gen Product Manager to prepare senior practitioners for agentic AI product work. The next cohort runs August 29 through September 27, 2026.

What the course covers

The curriculum is organized around production-level concerns that most LLM-focused PM courses skip: single and multi-agent architectures, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, production monitoring, and cost-performance optimization. The program includes 10 live classes and 5 portfolio projects.

Tools covered span the current production stack: GPT-4, Claude, Gemini, Pinecone, LangChain, MCP, and LangFuse. The framing throughout is that PM judgment determines whether agentic systems reach production or fail there — and that most do fail, because product teams lack the evaluation and oversight habits to catch failures before they compound.

Who it is for

Experienced product managers who are already working with AI features and want to develop depth in agentic system design, not just prompt engineering or use-case ideation. The course suits senior PMs transitioning to AI-first roles, startup founders building agentic products, and technical PMs who collaborate closely with ML teams.

It is not designed for people starting out in product management or those new to AI concepts. The expectation is that participants understand basic LLM behavior and have shipped at least one AI feature.

What it does not cover

The course does not address AI for product workflows, such as using AI to write PRDs or summarize meetings. Its scope is building and managing AI systems as the product.
