Course Maven Jun 2025

Maven: advanced AI product leadership for senior PMs

Advanced AI Product Leadership is an intensive two-week certification on Maven for professionals who already work on AI products and want to operate at a leadership level. It is positioned explicitly as a follow-up to beginner-level AI PM programs — it does not cover foundational concepts.

The primary instructor is Dr. Marily Nika, GenAI PM lead at Google with a PhD in machine learning. She is joined by Constantinos, a reliability engineer at Anthropic; George Zoto, a senior NLP/AI scientist; and Mark Cramer, a senior ML PM at Meta. The combination of perspectives — model deployment, reliability engineering, applied research, and product strategy — reflects the breadth of skills that senior AI product roles require.

What it covers

The program focuses on decisions that AI product leaders make, not concepts that individual contributors are learning for the first time. Topics include evaluating AI model trade-offs and selecting between technical approaches, developing technical depth in foundation models and LLMs sufficient to ask the right engineering questions, building and scaling AI/ML product teams, designing AI product strategy, and navigating regulatory and ethical constraints that affect shipped products.

Live sessions run over two weeks with two to four hours of weekly commitment. Recordings are available with lifetime access. A certificate is issued on completion and can be shared on LinkedIn. The price is $749, with installment payment options.

Who it is for

Senior product managers transitioning into AI leadership roles. Senior engineers pivoting to product management on AI systems. Executives building or reorganizing teams around AI products. The program assumes you have already worked on AI features and are dealing with organizational, strategic, and technical trade-off questions rather than foundations.

The next cohorts start June 15 and September 28, 2026.

What it does not cover

This is not an introduction to AI product management. It does not teach what an LLM is, how to write a PRD for an AI feature, or how to evaluate AI tools for the first time. Product managers at earlier stages of their AI PM journey should start with the companion course, AI Product Management 101, taught by the same instructor on Maven.
