Maven: Build Production-Ready AI Products

Build Production-Ready AI Products is an 8-week cohort course on Maven taught by Deepak Singh, founder of PMCurve, author of “Tech Simplified” (15,000+ copies sold), and former product lead for Voice and Conversational AI at Flipkart. It is designed for experienced product managers, senior PMs, and founders who want to move from general AI familiarity to actually shipping AI-powered products in production.

Who it is for

The course requires a minimum of two years of product management experience and a working understanding of software architecture and APIs. It is not an introductory program—participants are expected to know how to run discovery and write a PRD before arriving. The target student is a mid-to-senior PM at a company that is beginning to integrate AI into its product, or a founder building an AI-first product who needs structured product leadership skills alongside technical grounding.

What it covers

The eight-week curriculum covers AI product prototyping and algorithm selection, foundation models and LLMs, AI-specific product requirements documents, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, and model fine-tuning. The later modules address agentic AI systems—how to scope, evaluate, and govern features that involve autonomous model behavior—along with AI product strategy and risk management.

Sessions run live every Saturday for four hours (9 AM–1 PM IST), with optional Sunday capstone sessions. Cohorts stay small to allow one-on-one mentorship. Participants ship a portfolio-ready AI product as the final project, designed to serve as a practical demonstration of skills in hiring conversations. Deepak’s previous courses have maintained an NPS above 70 across cohorts. Graduates receive the PMCurve certification and lifetime access to a WhatsApp community of 1,000+ product professionals.

Pricing is $700 USD, with a full refund available until the course midpoint under Maven’s standard guarantee. The course carries a 4.6-star rating based on graduate reviews.

What it does not cover

The course does not teach foundational product management skills or cover broad AI business strategy from a non-technical angle. It also does not teach programming—participants work with no-code and low-code tools throughout. For PMs who already work in AI product roles and want to deepen technical fluency in agentic systems specifically, PMCurve is a structured option worth evaluating alongside more expensive alternatives at the $3,000-plus tier.
