Three additions stand out for researchers who use Dscout regularly: a redesigned intercept studies feature, an AI-powered study creation tool, and an AI moderator currently in beta preview.

What was announced

The AI-powered study creation tool allows researchers to move from a blank document to a draft screener or study guide in minutes by providing basic context about their research goals. The tool is positioned as a starting point rather than a finished output — the expectation is that researchers refine and adapt the generated materials rather than use them as-is.

The AI moderator, available to select users in a beta program opening in Q2, is designed to conduct interviews at scale and accelerate the identification of themes across sessions. Dscout describes it as a complement to human-led research rather than a replacement, consistent with their broader framing of AI as reducing friction rather than removing researcher judgment from the process.

The intercept studies feature has been rebuilt to support behavioral targeting, connecting participant recruitment to in-product actions or patterns rather than relying solely on demographic filters.
