AI customer research analysis — Maven course by Caitlin Sullivan

What the course is

A cohort-based course on Maven taught by Caitlin Sullivan, former Head of User Research at Spotify Business. The curriculum was revamped for 2026 with new format and content updates. Sullivan has spent over 2,000 hours testing AI for research and trains teams at companies including Canva, YouTube, and Volvo.

Who it’s for

Designers, researchers, and product people who spend hours analyzing customer input and want to build repeatable AI-powered analysis workflows. The course assumes you are already doing some form of customer research and want to improve the analysis phase specifically.

What it covers

The four-week program moves through AI thinking models, tool selection, qualitative analysis with AI, bias reduction, and hands-on analysis practice. Each weekly live session pushes participants to go from a pile of raw data to structured insights within 1.5 to 2 hours. Participants leave with an AI prompt library and workflows they can apply immediately. The course covers communicating with AI effectively, evaluating and selecting the right tools, preparing data for better qualitative analysis, running multiple analyses, and developing AI as a partner for reducing bias.

Limitations

At $1,150, this is a significant investment. The course is focused specifically on the analysis phase; if your primary challenge is research planning or recruitment, the scope will feel narrow. Cohort-based scheduling means you need to commit to specific dates.
