What the course is

A free, self-paced course on User Interviews Academy consisting of seven lessons totaling approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes. Created by Lizzy Burnam and Paolo Appley, the course teaches how to use the AI Insights features built into the User Interviews platform.

Who it’s for

New and experienced users of User Interviews, Research Ops professionals, UX researchers, and people who do research (PwDRs) who want to move from raw sessions to synthesis faster using the platform’s built-in AI features.

What it covers

The seven lessons walk through the complete AI-assisted analysis workflow: an overview of AI Insights and how it reduces analysis fatigue, setting up AI features within User Interviews, recording and transcription best practices, generating session breakdowns using uploaded discussion guides, analyzing data with the grid view, verifying AI-generated outputs for accuracy, and sharing and exporting findings with stakeholders.

Limitations

This is a platform-specific course. The skills are directly applicable only within User Interviews’ ecosystem. If you use a different research platform or want tool-agnostic AI analysis skills, this will not transfer directly. The free access likely means it doubles as product training.
