Generative AI content creation — Adobe course review

This Adobe-produced course focuses on using generative AI for visual and written content creation. It runs about two weeks at ten hours per week and has enrolled over 58,000 students with a 97% satisfaction rate.

Who it’s for

Content creators and designers who work within the Adobe ecosystem and want to integrate AI capabilities into their existing workflow. Also relevant for writers who need to produce visual content alongside their text work.

What it covers

Four modules move from AI fundamentals through practical application. Module 1 introduces generative AI concepts with hands-on work in Adobe Firefly, including using natural language to generate visuals. Module 2 builds on Firefly capabilities for creating custom imagery. Module 3 covers content creation workflows combining AI-generated text and visuals. Module 4 addresses AI-powered tools in Adobe Express for rapid content production.

The course includes a final project where you produce a complete content piece using the tools covered.

Limitations

The course is tightly integrated with Adobe’s product suite. Writers who don’t use Adobe tools will find limited direct applicability. The writing component is secondary to the visual content focus, making this more suitable for visual content creators than for text-focused writers.
